Pumpjack Players has provided Whitecourt and area residents with children's productions for the past decade. Now, this entirely volunteer driven theatre club is offering summer camps!
 

These camps offer a variety of skills for any child. It’s about learning how to communicate and how to express yourself. But it’s also about developing confidence and poise. These camps help kids think outside the box. They nurture imagination and promote self-discipline and critical thinking skills.
 

Summer camps with Pumpjack Players will be held twice throughout the 2026 summer. Campers build confidence through this introduction to the dramatic arts, while having fun with like-minded kids. Each camp is divided into classes covering a variety of acting techniques, speech, physical theatre play creation, and more. Kids will work together under experienced theatre members, developing social and life skills.
 

Within their age group, campers will create a play, and at the end of each session, you’ll get to watch them perform their creation and showcase their new talents! Final performances are on Friday afternoons of the camp week. Campers will also receive an official camp t-shirt.
